Ø450mm polyurethane “diamond plug”. The analyses
showed that the plug could be significantly truncated with little effect
on the flow characteristic, this has the advantage of reducing the amount
of material required to manufacture the plug. Analysis also shows the
effective maximum stroke length for a particular diameter of seat.
